Description

Diesel is a very handsome, friendly young boy who was surrendered as his person fell on hard times.  He was very much loved and is greatly missed by his former person.  He is playful, full of young energy and enjoys to swim.  He has some manners to learn, but nothing that a good training program can't help with.

Updates

Diesel is a handsome, sweet, and young pup eager to play, learn, and loves good pets! When we first brought him home, all he wanted to do was play with our pocket shepherd (40lb mix). Being so young, he is surprisingly gentle when playing. This is true when walking him as well! Very good on the lead and doesn't pull. If he gets a little ahead, a little tug of the collar will get him focused back to you and the walk.

He loves treats and will sit and command down for them. This morning we worked on "place" training, rewarding him with food. We also practiced heel/stop sit in the house. He caught on so quickly! This mental stimulation has already wiped him out before 9AM. Structure has been key and he is responding so well to it just within a day of having him.

So far we can say he is fully housebroken. He is a little underweight so we are giving him structured opportunities to eat, with praise and within the crate.

If you want young, pure GSD, he is the one! At 90 pounds (and counting) he is ready to find his forever home. I mean just look at those ears. How could you not want to take him home!
