History: Owner Surrender Ani's prior owner, of 5 years, was not able to take care of her and needed to find her a new home. She hasn't had the best home life, spending much of it in a crate, and then recently bouncing between a few foster homes on her way to my attention. Her current custodian is loving and taking care of her temporarily until she finds her new family.

Description
Ani is a lovely girl looking for a great new forever home.
Ani is good on the leash. She loves to play and catch and loves her toys. She tends to be "alpha" around my dog Shay and is not very calm in the house, but bear in mind this is the third household she has lived in within a short time. Also. her previous owner kept her crated in the garage all the time. She really hasn't had much time to settle in anywhere. Ani has a lot of potential to be a wonderful companion with someone who will spend a lot of time with her.
Since she has not spent much time with people or other pets, she has plenty of acclimating to do, however she is ok with kids and other pets when slowly introduced. She is still very anxious, and likes to be the alpha dog.
She has the potential to be a great and loving companion, but needs a new home with someone who will spend lots of time with her to settle her in.
Ani is not yet spayed, but is currently scheduled for surgery.
